Signature Glow Flow
Nina’s 'Signature Vinyasa Glow Flow Yoga' Method is an invigorating movement + musical vinyasa flow. Vinyasa means breath-synchronized movement. Students with be guided with careful instruction through a series of postures and an intelligently sequenced flow that gradually build with the breath. You will be supported in releasing tension while being carried along to the rhythm of the beat, pushing the limits of your balance and flexibility. Feel invigorated and inspired, and start glowing from the inside out. Ready, Set, Let’s GLOW!
Slow Glow Flow
Slow Glow Flow is a gentler, more mild version of the Signature Glow Flow practice which focuses on approaching yoga in a slow and deliberate manner. This practice promotes mindfulness while refining the focus on proper engagement of muscles and body alignment. Perfect for getting out of your head into your body. You'll be led to match breath to postures, creating a steady hypnotic rhythm to a calming soundtrack. Find yourself gently building your balance, flexibility, and self-confidence. Relieve your stresses and leave refreshed and relaxed and start GLOW-ing from the inside out!
Glow Flow Foundations
Brand new to the concept of yoga? Glow Foundations is perfect for those new to yoga or those wanting to refresh their knowledge on the basics. Nina will help you understand some basic knowledge of yoga and go over foundational postures and the fundamentals of breathing and alignment to help you join any yoga class. You will be guided in detail through each step. Like the foundations of a building, the sturdiness of a yoga posture depends on the quality of it’s base. So let’s start building from the ground up and start GLOW-ing up! Perfect for absolute beginners who don't want to be in a group setting and want to start privately.
Glow Restore - Yin Yoga
GLOW RESTORE - Yin Yoga is combination of Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga.
Join Yoga by Nina’s unique hybrid method of Yin Yoga & Restorative Yoga with energetic activation.
This practice is focused on 3 pillars: flexibility, mindfulness, and subtle energy. Nina harnesses her 14 year background in the martial arts along with Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga postures that incorporate meridian theory and acupressure points which stimulates the release of blocked energies stored in connective tissue for optimal physical health.
We begin our practice by challenging our flexibility, engaging in a series of active Yin Yoga movements designed to release (stretch & thicken) our connective tissues and improve joint mobility. Throughout these movements, we also hone meditative mindfulness skills that can be transferred from the mat to our everyday lives.
Transitioning into the Restorative Yoga portion of the practice, our focus shifts to the complete release of mind-body tension and healing the nervous system by dropping into the parasympathetic nervous system. We utilize supportive props and longer holds to create a sense of calm that triggers our body’s healing mechanisms.
This hybrid practice will leave you feeling decompressed, relaxed, and GLOW-ing from the inside out.
*This class is offered w/ or w/o a Sound Bath.
Meridian Yin Glow
Meridian Yin Glow brings the focus of a Yin Yoga practice on the energetic level, activating and dispersing the Qi or Prana (life-force energy) through the various meridian lines of the body.
You will trace through acupressure points that correlate to a certain Yin meridian organ and their Yang counterpart. Meridian Yin Yoga is practiced sitting or lying on the floor. The pace is slow, so you need to wear comfortable clothes and consider keeping your socks on. Please prepare yoga blocks, a strap, a blanket or towel, and either a yoga bolster or cushions and pillows.
Start GLOW-ing from the inside,out!
Yin & Glow
This Yin & Glow practice is divided into two parts. Yin Yoga consists of long passive holds to access connective (yin) tissue – ie. fascia, tendons, and ligaments. You will be supported in releasing tension held in the body and mind and in unwinding knots of energy that can result in chronic stress, anxiety, fatigue, or feeling fragmented and disconnected. The pace is slow, so wear comfortable clothes and consider keeping your socks on.
The second half of class is an active practice, focusing on muscle activation, blood flow, strength, and stamina. The combination of both Yin and Yang is needed to keep joints healthy, to come into balance, and to stay in optimal condition. You will be guided through a light flow to re-circulate stored energy, prana, or qi that was released in the first half of class.
Start GLOW-ing from the inside, out. Ready, Set, Let's GLOW!
Inversion Glow Focus
What are inversions? It’s the secret to youthfulness. 😉 It’s finding the delicate balance between weight distribution and the structure of the pose where the head is below the heart. Inverted positions in yoga alter the blood flow (including lymphatic drainage) and flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). If there is increased blood flow to the area, there will be increased bioavailability of oxygen and glucose – the two most important metabolic substrates for the brain. Cells bathed in a solution that is rich in factors required for the creation of neurotransmitters (like norepinephrine, dopamine, and serotonin) will be better able to produce these chemicals. So let’s fight our fears, challenge our perspectives, and flip upside-down!
Balance Glow Focus
Balance is a learned skill. In order to improve balance, we must challenge it. Physically, balancing teaches us to tap into the deep muscles that coordinate the separate parts of the body into an integrated whole. Mentally and emotionally, it helps us develop a keener focus as well as the ability to keep an even keel despite the inevitable wobbles that arise in life. We’ll be challenging our balance every step of the way starting from the base - focusing on standing postures that improve your sensory awareness in your feet. Similarly, learning how to use your hands for efficient weight-bearing is not only helpful in yoga arm balances, but in any action that requires thoughtful awareness of your shoulders, arms, and hands. When we have a mindful connection to our base, we feel more stable and grounded, better equipped to deal with the fluctuations of life. Practice balancing the physical body and watch what happens in the rest of your life!
Back Bend/Care Glow Focus
WANT MORE FROM YOUR BACKBENDS?
For most of us, backbends can be quite emotionally and physically challenging. They're the opposite action of our everyday activities such as texting, driving, sitting at our computers, and bending forward to pick up kids. By the time a person is in midlife and/or into their senior years, chronic health conditions, structural misalignments and pain are common. One of the top reasons people begin a Yoga practice is to help with their low back pain. Low back pain can be caused by a myriad of structural issues and/or spinal injuries and therefore, not all Yoga Poses are appropriate or therapeutic. Thus, it’s imperative to be educated on the proper biomechanics needed to support and not aggravate these conditions. Backbends are extremely important partly because they reverse habitual motions. They open up space, energize, and restore balance to our bodies and our lives.
Nina includes ways to support those with current back challenges and education towards the prevention of future injury. Nina has packed many years of experience into this intensive 2-hour workshop. Her studies on the anatomical structure of the body, as well well as her own low back issues has given her a wealth of knowledge.
In this 2 hour workshop you'll learn how to use and integrate your muscles to keep you safe and strong in backbends. Starting with simple actions, Nina will teach you the important but usually overlooked details on how to access the upper back and how to open the front of the body with care. Then we'll build on these basics to take you deeper into your backbends.
The Benefits of Back bends:
• Improves flexibility and mobility of the spine
• Energizes and unblocks the energetic channels of the chest, heart and the spine
• Back bends are probably the most misunderstood group of yoga poses, when practiced incorrectly or without intelligence they can create the sensation of tension and compression in the vertebrae of the spine, instead of length, extension, and heart opening that intelligent backbends create. If backbends are not a very popular part of your practice, then we encourage you to join this workshop.
• "Learn to love back bends" we will be working the body through intelligent openings, sequences and stretches using yoga props so that backbends become much more accessible and actually start to feel good!
• Who should join: YOU! Everyone can benefit from the practice of back bends and there invigorating effects
This Workshop is for you if:
• You wake up stiff or sore in the morning bending over is painful or challenging
• You spend any time during the year with your back on ice your back hurts regularly
• You’ve been to other practitioners for your back and you still have pain
In this Workshop, you will learn how to:
• Decrease your back and neck pain almost immediately
• Bend in a way that does not hurt your back or neck
• Stop re-injuring your back
• Sit comfortably at your computer for hours
• Identify the 3 key elements you need to know in order to make your pain go away permanently
• Get an action plan for your unique situation
Topics Covered:
• What are the anatomical components of a backbend?
• How do you identify your specific anatomical issue?
• What techniques can you apply to your own backbend?
• How much time do you need to spend in backbends?
• What practical preparations address your restrictions?

Hips & Booty Glow Focus
Work on activating and tightening the biggest muscle group in our body, our glutes! Since tight hips and knee pain directly correlate to weak glutes, another main focus of this class is to open and release the hip flexors – an area that houses past emotional trauma. So, let’s work it out and let it go, all in one class.
Stability Glow Focus
The core consists of muscles connecting the spine and pelvis. More specifically, the key muscles here include the deepest abdominal layer (transverse abdominis), the deepest back muscles (multifidi), the iliopsoas linking the spine and pelvis to each femur (thighbone), and the quadratus lumborum, which provides lateral support on either side of the lumbar spine. This fun and invigorating class combines dynamic movements and steady holds with emphasis on core stability to build and maintain a strong foundation essential to strengthening a yoga practice. This class also includes detoxification techniques as well as some back exercises.
Flexibility Glow Focus
In yoga, Flexibility is an attitude! This class takes you through a series of yoga postures and movements working toward difficult poses to help you open into a more flexible mind and body – targeting the hips, hamstrings, quads, glutes, and spine. You will practice how to mindfully breathe through the inflexible spaces to create more space and open the body in ways you never knew you could!

Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga is suitable for practitioners of all levels. By definition, Restorative yoga is a restful practice thaor a longer duration using props like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters. After you're set up in a pose with all your props, you will hold the pose for an extended period, sometimes for 10 or 20 minutes. In these passive poses, the focus is on ease and release. You may even fall asleep. This can be a sign that the nervous system is recalibrating to a "rest and digest" state versus "fight or flight." It is a practice of deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga—the union of body and mind.
When the body enters a state of relaxation the mind can also consciously relax as tension is released from both body and mind. The only work that's required on your part during a restorative yoga practice is to pay attention to your breath and become aware of any sensations or thoughts that may arise.
At the end of the session, your body will feel completely relaxed and restored.
The pace is slow, so you need to wear comfortable clothes and consider keeping your socks on. You may cocoon yourself in blankets for extra warmth and coziness. Please prepare yoga blocks, a yoga bolster/cushions/pillows, a strap, and a blanket or towel.
Arm Balance + Inversion Focus
After several months of developing this collaboration with Mind.Body.Hum, I am excited to introduce the Glow Focus - Arm Balance/Inversion Workshop. Despite the myriad of health benefits, arm balances and inversions can be initially intimidating. But through this two-hour workshop, I will help you establish the foundation of thus practice.
Arm balances strengthen the wrists, arms, and shoulder girdle as well as builds abdominal and core strength. It sharpens our balance reflex to prevent falls. Learning how to optimize our hands for efficient weight-bearing will give insight into proprioception and spacial awareness. Inversions are yoga poses where the heart is higher from the ground than the head. And are often considered the secret to youth since they have profound restorative effects and improve focus and circulation.
You will be guided through eight select poses as I will share techniques to take your practice to the next level. The knowledge you will gain will not only helpful for the actual physical asana yoga practice but will provide perspective in your overall yoga journey. My goal is to help you overcome the fear, recognize the myriad of benefits, and experience the joy of going upside down!
The workshop will be limited to 18 students (all levels welcome) so that I can provide tailored guidance and attention to everyone. Bring a water bottle and yoga gear (preferably pants for greater traction during arm balances). The studio will be non-heated (but still warm). See you on the mat!

Esoteric Acupuncture Sound Glow
REFLECTION: AN IMMERSIVE GLOW EXPERIENCE FT. ESOTERIC ACUPUNCTURE, SOUND HEALING & TEA CEREMONY
Hosted by Nina Park (Yoga Teacher & Sound Practitioner) and Emma McCune, L.Ac (The Wei Wellness)
Join us on a journey through acupuncture and sound as we reflect on the past year and make a conscious decision to continue connecting with our higher selves.
Esoteric Acupuncture is a practice of clearing and balancing the chakras in our bodies via specific needle placement that follows sacred geometric patterns. It focuses on awakening, expanding, and aligning our body's energy frequencies to optimize mind, body, and spiritual well-being. Emma McCune will lead this portion of the experience and focus specifically on the Crown Infinity Chakra Pattern. This is the single most important foundational pattern and initiates the activation/harmonization to move qi and kundalini in an upward movement toward the crown chakra. This allows us to connect more deeply with our higher selves.
Sound healing uses various instruments to produce frequencies that offer a host of health benefits. The sounds calm our nerves and promote a relaxed & meditative state. This has direct benefits on our parasympathetic nervous system, which is our primary system to manage our stress levels. Nina Park will create an enchanting soundscape using her vocals accompanied by Master-quality® quartz crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, along with two of Mind Body Hum's resident 60 inch gongs and other instruments.
By combining Esoteric Acupuncture and Sound Healing, we can attain true harmonization of our energy centers, promoting balance, clarity, and deep restoration. This is a unique opportunity to discover these healing modalities and connect with a like-minded and supportive community of seekers.
